Magic: The Gathering Tournament
The Magic: The Gathering Geneva association is organizing our big Magic: The Gathering tournament on Saturday September 17! From 11 a.m. you will have the opportunity to see the players compete in the Arcana Arena and discover one of the greatest card games in the world.

Companion :
During the tournament, the use of the Wizard's COMPANION app is highly recommended.
It allows the organizer to tell you who your next opponent is and on which table.
You can also enter the results of your last round in this app.

Material provided by the organizer:
A. 6 booster packs of 15 cards for the sealed of the current edition (+3 booster packs for each player in the TOP8 draft)
B. Basic land on loan
C. Results sheets
D. Pens
Equipment not provided but recommended for each player:
A. Dice
B. Protective sleeves for the cards
Tournament schedule:
1) Construction of the deck of at least 40 cards using
a. The cards extracted from the 6 booster packs
b. The basic lands
2) 5 rounds of 50 minutes using the constructed deck
3) The first 8 of the sealed are qualified for the draft
4) Draft with 3 boosters each
5) Construction of the deck of 40 cards minimum
6) 3 rounds by elimination (every player who loses is eliminated)
Prizes for the top8 after the draft:
1st: 18 new edition Boosts + 2 old edition Boosters
2nd: 9 new edition boosters + 2 old edition boosters
3rd and 4th: 3 new edition boosters + 2 old edition boosters
5th to 8th: 2 old edition boosters
Prizes for 9th and following at the end of the sealed:
9th to 11th: 1 new edition booster + 2 old edition boosters
12th to 16th: 2 old edition boosters
17th to 32nd: 1 old edition boosters
Participation fee :
35.- CHF per player (cash or TWINT) on site. Entrance to Arcana for the day on Saturday is included.
