Synopsis

Through the story of a castaway on a tropical desert island populated by turtles, crabs and birds, "The Red Turtle" tells the major stages of a human being's life. Michael Dudok de Wit received the Special Prize "Un Certain Regard" at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
