How to get to the event?

📍 Address: Allaman Castle, Route du Château 2, 1165 Allaman, Switzerland

🚆 Public transport (Best option!)

• Allaman SBB train station: We encourage you to travel by train to the event.

• Directions: The walking route from the station is accessible all the way up to the Arcana entrance.

• ♿ On-site assistance: A team will be present in front of the Arcana entrance to help wheelchair users and families with strollers cross the curb.

🚗 Parking

• Parking is available for visitors at a price of CHF 5.- (for the whole weekend).

• Free parking spaces specifically reserved for people with reduced mobility (PRM) are located closest to the castle.

🐶 Animals

• Dogs are allowed in Arcana, provided they are kept on a leash, are clean and sociable.

Event Accessibility

Diets

We are committed to accommodating as many dietary needs as possible. Our 12 food trucks offer numerous vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free meal options. Food trucks are required to display allergy information.

Sensitivity to noise or crowds

If you wish to visit Arcana at a quiet time, our stages will be on silent mode and music broadcasts will be interrupted on Sundays between 5:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., allowing you to enjoy Arcana in peace.

If you don't like crowds, try visiting the festival on Friday, Sunday evening, or Monday. These will be the quietest times. We've also set up plenty of secluded areas where you can sit away from the noise and crowds without having to leave Arcana.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility

Some areas are indicated in our program as " easily accessible ", by which we mean that they are accessible independently for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.

The areas accessible independently at Arcana are:

• The Literature Area and the Discovery Area - 30 booths (maximum 6% ramp, wooden or paved floor)

• The Samaritan first aid station (asphalt floor and access ramp into the first aid station)

• Suburb - 8 booths

• The entrance to the Pop-culture area - 2 booths including the figurine exhibition

Some areas are marked in our program as " moderately accessible ", by which we mean that they are accessible but that it may be tiring or that assistance is needed for people in wheelchairs.

Difficulties encountered in areas marked as "moderately accessible":

• Compacted fine gravel floor

• firm natural ground

• Grassed ground

• Thresholds of less than 3cm

• Slopes between 6% and 12%

The accessible areas that can be exhausting or require assistance are:

• The catering area - 30 booths (compacted fine gravel floor/stabilized ground)

• Arcana's bar (compacted fine gravel soil/stabilized soil)

• The Sapphire Stage (compacted fine gravel surface/stabilized soil)

• The Ruby Stage (grassy ground after a distance of 200m)

• The Rampart - 25 booths (compacted fine gravel surface/stabilized surface)

• The Forest 10 booths - (natural soil/grass after a slope between 6 and 12%)

• The Creators' Area - 31 booths (floor in wood with ramp at less than 6% but in the middle of an area of natural ground (earth/grass) and you have to go over a slope which is between 6 and 12% to reach it)

• Medieval village - 9 booths (grass surface after 150m distance)

• Garden - 20 booths (grass surface after 100m distance)

• The Workshop Room (ground floor of the castle, door thresholds less than 3cm high)

• Accessible WC (ground floor of the castle, door thresholds less than 3cm high)

• A small part of the Pop-culture area - 7 booths (requires climbing a ramp with a gradient between 6% and 12%)

• Activity area - Archery Tag & Tactical Nerf (requires crossing 200m of natural ground (earth/grass))

Some areas are marked in our program as " difficult to access ", by which we mean that they are behind steps or slopes of more than 12%.

Important note: The Arcana Association is working with the castle owner to repair the elevator in the castle. It has not yet been put back into operation, and we will update this information if the elevator is operational again.

• The Asia Area - 10 booths (40 steps)

• The World of Video Games - 1 gaming area (60 steps)

• The rest of the Pop-culture area - 9 booths (10 steps)

• The Street Art & Tattoo Area - 8 booths (10 steps)

• The tournament area - 0 booths, but TCG and puzzle tournaments are organized there (10 steps)
